Suggested Guide Books For Belgium and The Netherlands

I have compiled a list guidebooks that I have found useful, or fellow travelers highly recommend for Belgum. They are in order of usefulness and I have included comments as to the merits of the books. To order a book, click on the title and you will be taken to the Amazon.com web site.

Rick Sieves' Amsterdam, Bruges, and Brussels 2003	Rick Steves' guide for the more popular places in the low countries. They just happen to be the cities I visited as well
Belgum: Green Guide (2nd Ed) by Michelin	The green guide series provides tourists with the information needed to get around Belgium. The green guide provides accurate historical information as well as cultural traditions about Belgium. Furthermore, the green guide provides information and maps for places of interest in Belgium. The green guide also rates the sites is a fairly accurate manner.
Netherlands: Green Guide (2nd Ed) by Michelin	The green guide series provides tourists with the information needed to get around the Netherlands. The green guide provides accurate historical information as well as cultural traditions about the Netherlands. I like to use the Green Guide in addition to the Rick Steves series
The Rough Guide to Belgium & Luxembourg, 2nd edition	Provides useful information about places that Rick Steves misses. Good as a supplemental guide for those who plan to go to sites not mentioned in Rick's book. However it would be best to photocopy from this comprehensive guide and take just the places you plan to go. Also, I noticed that the info can get out of date in Rough Guides.
The Lonely Planet Belgium & Luxembourg, 3nd edition	The Lonely Planet gives inexpensive travel info about Belgium and Luxembourg.
The ROugh Guide Holland	The Rough Guide for the Netherlands gives great information about this mellow country.
Lonely Planet The Netherlands	The Lonely Planet guide for Holland gives terrific information about travel through the Netherlands.
