Messenian Gulf The Peloponnese of Greece has huge pinnacles and some of the most scenic coastline. It is therefore hard to pick the most scenic region of the Peloponnese, but my vote is for the Messenian Gulf road from Areopoli (near the Diros Caves) to Kalamata. The road twists and turns along the coast, overlooking the Messenian gulf and some of the clearest water anywhere.Here are some of my pictures from this great bit of coastline.
