Githos
Githos
Githos is a tiny port on the Lakonian gulf and is the traditional marker for the border of the Manifinger) of Greece. Githis is an little fishing town with a very attractive port and water front. Though some tourism, it is not overwhelmed by tourists because of its location and makes a nice getaway from the rest of Greece. Mythology says this is where Paris and Helen spent their first night on their way to Troy. I had a nice stay in this town, though I was only passing through on my way into the Mani.
